Are the maps downloadable files?
No. These are interactive maps accessed in your browser, with places, coordinates and available information in popups.
What about guides, posters and packs?
These are downloadable PDFs, not printed products for shipping. Free documents require no account. Others are sold separately or included with selected maps, as described on each product page.
Documents associated with your acquisitions appear in My downloads. Global map access does not automatically grant access to all PDFs. Content already accessible or included in a cart offer is not charged separately.
Do free maps require an account?
No. Free maps are directly accessible without registration or purchase.
How do I access paid maps?
Sign in to use access already assigned to your account. Some accounts have global access. New payments are not open yet: the cart currently lets you prepare a selection without being charged.
Why is a cart item not charged?
Maps you can already access are excluded from payable amounts. Classic maps included in a selected roadtrip are also excluded to avoid duplicate charges.
Are displayed prices final?
Current catalogue amounts are final prices. No additional tax will be added. Tax and invoicing arrangements still require validation before payments open.
What do the point estimates mean?
The total and category estimates are stored against the published map version in the database. Categories are not necessarily a complete breakdown of the total.
Can I use maps offline?
An Internet connection is required. There is no offline mode or turn-by-turn navigation app at present.
Can I switch to satellite?
The controls are prepared, but satellite and hybrid backgrounds remain unavailable until their provider is configured. Road maps are available.
How do I report an incorrect place?
Contact us with the map and place name. Always check official information, local access restrictions and safety instructions before travelling.
